Is it tragic that this is the best news I've heard in about three days?
Tragic? Absolutely. Surprising? Not in the least. I' trying to cheer myself up by telling myself that it's getting so bad that the backlash will ensure progressive leadership for years. Then I remember that I'm assuming the backlash will be allowed to occur, realize that's not a given, and then I need a vodka tonic.
